Easy Homemade Thandai Recipe
Ingredients:
2 cups chilled milk
10 almonds (soaked & peeled)
1 tbsp melon seeds
1 tbsp poppy seeds (khus khus) (optional)
4-5 black peppercorns
3-4 cardamom pods
½ tsp fennel seeds
2 tbsp sugar or honey
1 tsp rose water (optional)
Chopped nuts & saffron for garnish
How to Make It:
1️⃣ Soak & Blend – Soak the almonds, melon seeds, poppy seeds, fennel seeds, peppercorns, and cardamom in water for 2-3 hours. Then, blend into a smooth paste using a little milk.
2️⃣ Mix & Sweeten – Add the paste to the remaining milk, stir well, and mix in sugar or honey.
3️⃣ Chill & Serve – Refrigerate for an hour to let the flavors blend. Pour into glasses, garnish with chopped nuts and saffron, and enjoy!
